We chose to welcome people with dogs and it has been a learning curve! A lady left us a glowing review on one of the booking platforms and we can return the compliment – she is the very type of dog owner we wanted to welcome. You wouldn’t have known that she had the dogs with her and the place was left immaculate.
We do now insist on proof of flea and worm treatment and we charge extra, so that the place can be double cleaned for the comfort and protection of all our guests – with two or four legs

Whitstable Old Neptune pub on the beach
Minster beach The Beach bar and restaurant. Dog friendly beach all year round on one side.
Ramsgate Few dog friendly outside benches in the harbour with food and drink (small under bridge arches near the boats). Beach not dog friendly during summer months though.
Broadstairs Dog friendly beach round the right of the bay all year round (on lead during summer, off lead allowed during winter). Lots to do and lots of lovely walks.
